A word from our 2026/7 Welfare Officer...

Hello!

I am Miles, a second year in Josephine Butler college and joined polo in my first week at Durham. I had no previous equestrian experience but with the help of some persuasive friends joined the club and have had the best time since. I am no stranger to imposter syndrome.... which is why I wanted to become welfare officer.
In this role, my goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where all members feel welcome and supported. Polo can be daunting so I am here to provide a friendly point of contact for any welfare concerns affecting you in the club or personally.
