TRAINING

DUPC is very active, with optional lessons running several times a week at all levels. We train at Dart Polo Club in Lincolnshire, offering 2 hour lessons or 4 hour intensive training sessions.

 

The main events in the DUPC calendar are the SUPA Winter and Summer Nationals, which normally take place in February and June, and the Durham Summer Invitational Tournament. SUPA is typically a 3-day away tournament that involves almost every university in the UK with a polo team, and, as beginners is consistently their largest division, it is a brilliant environment to be starting out in. Alongside these competitions, we often organise and compete in friendly tournaments against other universities, and there are regular club chukkas at Dart Polo Club for those wanting a taste of faster polo.
